LOOKING WITHIN

In this season of Easter, I want you; yes you, the one reading this piece at the moment to reflect on these thoughts. What is Easter to you? Is it just an occasion to get off work? Or school to make merry with friends and family? When you think about   Easter, what and who comes to your mind? Do you think about Jesus and the Cross? Do you think about the immeasurable love He has for you? Do you see the Cross, full of pain, bitterness, anger, sin? Do you see what He had to endure? Do you see the sacrifice He made? The victory that is won?  Indeed, greater love has no man than this that a man lays down His life for his friends. In this season, I want you to join me to reflect on God, His love and who he is in your life. Who is God to you? How well do you know him? Are you aware that He so close to you right now, wanting   you to know that he is? He wants to have a personal relationship with you, He knows what makes you laugh, cry, what you enjoy doing and everything. Do you know that you can so know God, it will blow you away; that this great, powerful and majestic God would want to be so close to man.Dear Reader, Jesus didn’t die as a sinner; He didn’t only represent you on the cross but became sin itself on the cross. What manner of love, God has bestowed upon man! The emptiness inside,that you are trying so hard to satisfy  with drugs, food, women sex ,men, television, alcohol etc. can only be satisfied with God. Who are you?  What is your purpose? You can only find answers if you know the Creator. Your mind and soul are in agony, even though you smile, your heart is far away. It’s not too late dear, you can make up with Him. He has been waiting for you, why don’t you take his hand and say this prayer…"o lord God, I come to you in the name of Jesus.Your word says;..whosoever shall call on the name of God shall be saved"(Acts 2:21). I ask  Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I receive eternal life into my Spirit and according to Romans 10:9," That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved," I declare that I am saved; I am born again; I am a child of God! I now walk in the consciousness of my new life. Now get a Bible believing church in your neighbourhood and start your walk with the Lord.
